I was looking through pictures from my mission, and I decided that even if no one else wants to look at pictures from my mission, I do. So, I'm going to organize my mission with "a few" ;) pictures. Enjoy. :)
Provo, UT MTC February 4, 2015- February 17, 2016

Traveling at 2 am to the airport. :) |
Belfair, WA with Sister Harris February 17, 2015 to May 12, 2015
My first apartment on the mission. |
Sometimes I almost wish I could put this rain jacket and reflector belt back on and go back out into the cold, dark night and knock on strangers doors again... and then I step outside into the cold darkness and am glad that I don't have to do that anymore! |
Here is an image of what weekly planning looked like. As well as my companion with the best pair of glasses ever! |
I think this is one of my favorite pictures from my mission. Service at Zion's Camp. |
We accidentally got the car stuck once... |
This girl is probably one of the funniest and funnest people I know. I
am so glad that I got her for a trainer, I can't think of a time that I
had more fun than when I was with her. | |
Belfair, WA with Sister Kramer May 12, 2015 to June 23, 2015
We thought it would be a good idea to walk on the mud flats. We didn't realize we would sink. |
Our very favorite people, the Zion's Camp missionaries. :) |
Lincoln's Baptism. |
Olympia, WA with Sister Evans June 23, 2015 to September 15, 2015
Some of my past roommates call me Quince. I was excited when I found this street. :) |
My District. (Hint, this is a sneak peek for another post I'm going to do.) |
The Zone |
Junk food is kind of necessary in this line of work. |
My first dog bite. :( |
When you cover two wards, this is what going out to the car and back inside at night looks like. |
Winlock, WA with Sister Philippi September 15, 2015 to December 8, 2015
It rains in Washington. |
I conquered a lot of fears in Winlock. This is a picture of me right before tackling a yellow jacket (or hornets?) nest on our back porch. |
This is the whole that the yellow jackets made. |
This is the couch that had the yellow jacket nest inside of it. Some of the men in the ward kindly offered to dispose of the couch for us. :) |
I was rebellious and stepped a foot over the mission boundaries. |
This was my District in Winlock. We called ourselves Guerreros de Verdad. |
All that both of us wanted for Christmas was handwarmers or toewarmers or anything warm. Our moms loved us enough to send us extra large packs of both! |
Silverdale, WA with Sister Taylor December 8, 2015 to January 19, 2016
The zone at our Mission Christmas Party |
Elma, Washington with Sister Sasser and Sister Cox January 19, 2016 to March 1, 2016
We had a lot of exchanges in this apartment and with 3 of us already here, and then 2 more coming for every exchange, we decided it would be easiest to just fill the living room with mattresses each time. :) |
Elma, WA with Sister Rosenvall March 1, 2016 to June 1, 2016
This road ended up being 6 miles long. Our backs hurt so we turned our purses into fannypacks. (or if you are from New Zealand, bum bags.) |
The following Monday, we decided to hop on the bandwagon and buy our own matching fanny packs! :) |
University Place/Fircrest/Tacoma, WA with Sister Glauser June 1, 2016 to July 12, 2016
Sometimes we went running on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. :) |
Tacoma/University Place/Fircrest, WA with Sister Skousen July 12, 2016 to August 16th, 2016
Our Zone at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma. |
A collection of pictures of some of my favorite people. :)
A collection of animals that I saw on my mission:
Pictures of me burning things:
A collection of pictures of me dressed as an elder:
Pictures of when I (or someone else) was really tired:
Pictures of interesting signs:
This concerned us at first, but one of my very best experiences from my
mission was having the opportunity to go to the Women's Correctional
Facility and teach the Plan of Salvation to 20 women who probably felt
like they were at rock bottom. |
A collection of how I adapted to wearing a skirt/dress all the time:
Well, that took longer than expected, and was a lot more pictures than I was planning. Congratulations if you made it this far! :)
