The New Year rang in with my parents here on a visit. We drank some sparkling cider, and pretended like it was midnight before taking the girls home to put to bed at 8:30 PM. Ryan and I did some sparklers on the driveway because we are extra exciting.
The rest of the month was spent staying inside where it was nice and warm. We played with toys, watched tv, colored or painted, went to the library, and ate snacks. And then on days that it felt a little warmer or if the sun came out we went on walks or we went to the park to feed ducks.
Life with kids may not be the most exotic or exciting, but it sure is sweet. <3 It's the little things.
