Ideally, when I do these "Snapshots" blog posts, I would have only a handful of photos to help show how our month went. But I am incapable of taking normal amounts of pictures and of not getting attached to too many of them and then not being able to narrow it down to just a few pictures. Maybe someday I will figure it out, but March of 2022 was not that month (and neither is August 2022, since that's what month it actually is right now.)
March was a busy month:
- We went camping in Capitol Reef with Ryan, Tressa, Preston, and Jason, and our kids. I wrote a blog post about this trip, but it was cold and I was feeling quite pregnant. Lucy cried all night long, and Rose was thrilled out of her mind to get to share a bed with me all night long, which meant she woke me up a lot.
- Ryan and I went on a getaway trip to St. George for a weekend. We left the girls with Jason and Lisa and ate yummy food, went yard sale-ing, and had fun together without children to watch for a few days.
- We visited Grannie and Papa, where we ate a yummy strawberry cake that Grannie made from scratch.
- Rose started Tumbling Tots and I thought she would love it, but she hated it.
- We went on several walks (our sanity saver)
- We also visited Thanksgiving Point's Butterfly Biosphere with my friend from Texas, Katie, and her kids.
I couldn't narrow down this next set of pictures because I just think they are all so funny. Background story: I went on a walk with Rose and Lucy while I was at Grannie's house. She lives near a cemetery and we were walking next to the cemetery and Rose found a bouquet of fake flowers in the hedge next to the cemetery. Because sisters will be sisters, there was some fighting over who got to play with the flowers. 😅 Pay attention to the faces they make in these pictures.

Lucy kept me up both nights we were camping, so of course she fell asleep on the drive home. 😅
