Halloween 2022

 Can you tell who we are dressed up as?

Tarzan!

Ryan and I are Tarzan's parents, Quinn is baby Tarzan, Lucy was a last minute Jane (the plan was Terk, the gorilla, but we decided to go with Jane the day of Halloween.), and Rose was Sabor, the Jaguar. 

Rose was thrilled to be someone so scary. Her best friend was Megamind and Rose kept telling me that Sabor is EVEN scarier than Megamind. haha. 

Lucy was going to be Terk, but I was worried that the faceprint would end up being a huge pain AND also turn out looking ridiculous... so Ryan convinced me to just use this yellow dress up dress we have to let her be Jane. I wasn't sure it would be enough so we went to DI and bought this plastic bowl and I spray painted it to look like a safari hat. Can you tell it's a bowl? 😅

Also, does Ryan's mustache kill you? 😂 I tried to convince him to grow it out like that because it's just so stunning. Unfortunately, he can't have any facial hair at his job. And poor Quinn needs a wig. Baby Tarzan was not that bald. 

Quinn was only naked for the pictures. We put him in warm pjs to go trick or treating. 

Our Halloween weekend was jam packed with fun. (Maybe too jam packed, with too much fun... 😬) On Saturday we went to the Provo Rec Center Halloween Carnival. The girls enjoyed doing crafts and going through their "Trick or treat street" where they got to see Spiderman, Mirabel from Encanto, Bluey, and other favorite characters. On Monday, Rose had a ballet class but it was right by where Downtown Provo does their center street trick or treating (which is crazy busy but also tons of fun). So we went with her friends for about 30 minutes trick or treating there before ballet. She also got to wear her halloween costume to ballet, she was thrilled about that. 

After ballet, we got everyone dressed, ate some dinner, took our pictures, and then went trick or treating in Springville. We stopped to say hi to Ryan's aunt and uncle and then went to a handful of houses to trick or treat. It was very cold and it got dark early so we weren't out for very long. Next year we will remember to start out earlier!
